Mr. Danjuma Sule Temidayo, popularly known as Excel, is a man of humble beginning. With dints of diligence and determination, Excel rose to be a voice and force to be reckoned with in Tsafe, Zamfara State and beyond. He is currently the MD/CEO of Excel Groups.
As someone who didn’t despise little beginning, Mr Sule began his entrepreneurial journey with the establishment of Temidayo Metal Construction Works in Tsafe township in the old Sokoto (now Zamfara) State in 1991, having built a formidable good will and reputation for himself, he diversified his business interests in 2005 by venturing into the sales of phones and phone-accessories in Gusau after Zamfara State was created. Thus, the business that started on the stress of Gusua has today grown into a multi-branches ExcelPhones.com. Within few years of sustained business integrity, Mr. Sule became the State Sales Representative of global telephone giants which include Techno, Gionee, Samsung, Itel, Fero, Infinix and Nokia in Zamfara State. Years later, a blossoming branch of ExcelPhones.com was established in Zaria to capture the phone markets in Kaduna State, he is also an importer of different types of vehicle.
As a lover of humanity, Mr. Sule’s desires to better people’s quality of life are impeccable. His drives for quality education pushed him into affiliation with the Usmanu Dafodiyo University, Sokoto to establish a Diploma-awarding Excel Institution for Computer Literacy (EICL), Gusau in 2008. He also partnered with someone to establish the Excel Favourite International School (EFIS) in Gusau as a senior partner.
However, even though he was betrayed by his partner, he did not give up to despondency. Mr. Sule encouraged himself and pursued his dream by establishing the Excel Group of Schools in 2017. As a through-bred Tsafe man, the township became the first beneficiary in 2017 when Excel Marvellous International School (EMIS) was established, which was later re-named as Leadsprings International School (LIS) in 2019. Few months after EMIS has gained ground in Tsafe, a sister school named Leadsprings International School (LIS) was established in Gusau in 2018 to boost access to quality education in Zamfara State which led to the renaming of EMIS to LIS.
Through Excel’s doggedness and foresightedness, many lives have been positively touched in Zamfara State and beyond. Apart from being a compassionate employer of labour, Excel has been of assistance to many persons across ethno-religious divides in Nigeria. He started redefining access to quality education in Zamfara State by creating conducive learning environment and promoting robust town-gown relationship.
Mr. Sule’s service with integrity eventually was noticed and rewarded, as he became the recipient of many awards, he is happily married to Bosede and they are blessed with children, both males and female.
